Curb Appeal
First, look at the exterior of your house, or your curb appeal. Look at the outside of your home from the view of a passerby. What jumps out at you? What wonderful characteristics seem hidden? Understanding this helps us to decide what we can do to entice buyers from the street and into your home. If your house isn't at its best on the outside with retouched paint and blooming greenery we'll need to address those issues. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and add dollars to your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Can buyers see themselves watching a movie in your living space, reading a good book in your spa tub or hosting a dinner in your eat-in kitchen? We want your house to pleasantly accept buyers and offer them a sense of ease. I'll help you achieve this by recommending small improvements that highlight the features of your house. I'll help you put in storage anything that gives the look of clutter. Tabletops should be cleared off. Arts and crafts, sentimental items, family photos, and refrigerator artwork should get stored away too. We need to give mass appeal to the house so buyers can picture it as their new house.
I know exactly what a room's best characteristics are and how to highlight them. I'll point out the pieces of furniture that should be rearranged, rooms that need a fresh coat of paint, rugs needing to get changed, fixtures that could use brightening, and any other improvement that can easily be made to positively affect the sale.
Buyers like a property that charms them. Anything that could be uninviting should be put away in order for your home to have general appeal to buyers.

Setting the Stage At every showing, we want to engage the buyer's senses. Brightness is critical and we'll part the curtains, and change light bulbs where needed to invite the buyer inside. We'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music to listen to while guests look at your home and make sure a pleasant aroma circulates from every room. We'll include cozy-looking blankets, and place pillows on your sofa and bed. We want buyers to feel like your house is their future home. |
